Team Ontario Basketball Tryouts

In partnership with the Athlete Institute (AI), ISWO is hosting Team Ontario Basketball Tryouts for all age divisions at the AI’s state of the art training facility on January 11, 2020. The tryouts are open to all Indigenous basketball players residing in Ontario who are interested in participating in the 2020 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) taking place July 12-19, 2020 in Halifax, NS.

The tryouts will be facilitated by AI Coaching Staff and Team Ontario Coaching Staff will be on-site evaluating and scouting for Team Ontario Basketball teams. Participants and their guardians will also have the chance to learn more about the Athlete Institute, their programming, and how they have become the number one basketball development institute in Canada.

19U Male and Female Tryout: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (check-in at 9:30 am)

16U Male and Female Tryout: 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm (check-in at 12:00 pm)

14U Male and Female Tryout: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm (check-in at 2:30 pm)

Fee: $30.00 (payable online only)

Athletes who attend the Team Ontario Basketball Tryout should bring appropriate clothing including; athletic wear, running shoes, and a refillable water bottle. 

Please note: Athletes must register on the MY.ISWO Portal in order to register for this and any Team Ontario NAIG 2020 Tryout.  All registrations for Team Ontario NAIG 2020 clinics and tryouts must be completed through the MY.ISWO Portal.
