Winter Cultural Camp

ISWO is pleased to offer Indigenous Youth ages 12-18 the chance to participate in a Winter Land Based Cultural Camp. This camp was designed to emerge youth in different winter activities such as ice fishing, winter nature walks, cultural teachings about winter medicines in the region, and teachings from an Ontario Indian Residential School Survivors Head Elder. Youth will also be participating in ATV rides provided by Mukwa Adventures.
This is a FREE, overnight camp taking place from January 11-13, 2019 at the Dunlop Lake Lodge in Elliot Lake, ON. Transportation and meals are provided for youth.
This camp is being held in partnership with Mukwa Adventures and Sudbury Sports Radio.
