The Creator’s Game – Education Through Lacrosse

Using historical teachings, the Grand River Metis Council will educate youth about the Creator’s Game – Lacrosse. Connecting with the land, participants will harvest hickory wood and materials to build their own sticks, and then learn the fundamentals of lacrosse. This project is intended to help create a connection between the youth, Elders, land and community.
