Standing Bear UOttawa Workshop
February 2, 2019 - February 3, 2019
In partnership with the University of Ottawa Indigenous Resource Centre, Mashkawazìwogamig ISWO is pleased to offer a FREE 2-day Standing Bear Youth Leadership Workshop. This workshop is open to all Indigenous youth ages 18-24 in the Southeast Region. The workshop takes place at the UOttawa Campus, the specific room number will be announced to participants closer to the workshop date.
The workshop activities will include, but are not limited to:
- Community activism discussions
- Employment information and resources discussions
- Birch-bark box making
- Budgwe (Anishnaabe lacrosse game)
- And more
