2020 Ontario Native Basketball Invitational

April 10 - April 12

In assessing the current situation regarding the impact of COVID-19, and in an abundance of caution for the health and safety of the participants and their families, ISWO in partnership with the Athlete Institute, has made the decision to postpone the 2020 ONBI to a date later this year still to be confirmed. All individuals and teams currently registered will be notified and any registration fees paid to date, will be fully refunded. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

About the 2020 ONBI
The 2020 Ontario Native Basketball Invitational (ONBI) is set to take place in partnership with the Athlete Institue, Canada’s number-one basketball athlete development program. The 2020 ONBI will bring together teams from across Ontario to compete in a friendly, yet competitive invitational tournament. Youth ages 14-18 travel with their teams and family members to compete and have fun. With a number of cultural and leadership activities offered throughout the entire tournament, ONBI is designed to build confidence, create friendships and strengthen communities, while creating opportunities for Indigenous youth to participate in competitive sport with their peers.
